               2008 PENNINE CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS

To help make the meeting run as smoothly as possible can all members who sign on please be ready to Marshall
(If you've never done this before see Gary Stokes - Chief Marshall)

Everybody will be expected to help in some way. It does not have to be a big commitment - just a few races - and everything will be done to accommodate all members.
All help is very much appreciated at the end of the day.

Help before and after the meeting will also be required so no excuse from anyone if you have to keep repairing the car during racing.

PENNINE POINTS SCORING SYSTEM

Points are awarded in all 3 heats and Finals, apart from the Finals in the Autumn Showdown Series.

The Points in the Heats are:

1st - 10, 2nd - 8, 3rd - 6, 4th - 5, 5th - 4, 6th - 3, 7th - 2, 8th - 1

The Points in the Finals are:

A final : 1st - 20, 2nd - 18, 3rd -16, 4th -15, 5th - 14, 6th -13, 7th - 12, 8th - 11.

B final : 1st -10, 2nd - 8, 3rd - 6, 4th - 5, 5th - 4, 6th - 3, 7th - 2, 8th - 1.

The last Pennine Championship round is on September 7th.
