Thanks to all of the pennine team for a great days racing sunday was exactly what a club meeting should be about,friendly faces, lots of track time and lots of fun.

I would like to say a big thank you to John Gadsby for the help and lending me an electric fuel pump so i could complete the meeting. This was only my second meeting and first at Pennine which i fully enjoyed even with my problems.Look forward to being there on October 11.

Hi,My missus used to race (p999)class 12 ladies ,till she crashed and hurt her back.Anyway,the reason i am on here is that i have a j reg sherpa 400 hi top ex police van for sale,i bought it to do up but time has beaten me.It has air bag rear suspension,ebersbacher heat/vent,rover v8 coupled to an automatic box,both in excellent running order,the inside has been done out as a camper,i.e.sink , full cooker,cassette toilet,more cupboards than you can throw a stick at,towbar +electrics,double bench seats make into double bed,could benefit from some t.l.c and a respray.There is no mot or tax as it was bought as a project.Offers around £800

These are the final points after the deductions, the drivers with a star next to them are entitled to a trophy, these will be given out at the Champion of Champions meeting on the 4th October at Leicester.
Also, Pennine is the top scoring club out of the league.

after seeing the display dave otter put on at pennine today he should be banned.he drove the wrong way round the track raced through the pits and loading area where there were lots of childern he needs to read and understand the members handbook this need taking to the east midland meeting.I will also be contacting nasa regarding this matter as it wrecked all the hard work the pennine club had done

A new system is being trialled for cars going to the Nationals (both Mens and L%26J) – the intention being that cars will arrive legal, rather than being made legal after failing scrutineering. Within the next week or so, the League will receive a checklist for each car that we are sending to the Nationals (for qualifiers and reserves – substitutes will not be required to meet the rules, due to timing). The aim is that the cars are checked beforehand and the form signed by both the League Scrutineer and the League Chairman. The driver then takes the form to the Nationals – they will then be scrutineered and any perceived failure will be discussed with the signatories. Should a driver ‘forget’ the form, then they will join a new scrutineering lane (which promises to be slow). The aim is that, should it be proved that cars are arriving ‘legal’ and ready to run, then the level of National scrutineering may reduce. To encourage the cars to arrive ‘legal’ rather than being made legal onsite, it is possible that the welding tent will only be open once racing starts (as it meant to be a repair facility rather than a car-building facility) and the possibility that failed cars are not allowed to re-take scrutineering. An upside consequence of this is that there will be no ‘ambushes’ from scrutineers on the day.

Just to say the same as everyone else what a great weekend at the Stockhatch Nationals - great racing, brill weather, superb track and lovely people.

Well done to all that took part especially the winners- it's great to meet other stockhatch drivers from clubs all over.

Amazing evening entertainment - Team Snorkel Girlies will be back to defend our title next year! (Thank you to those who encouraged and "supported" us in the final - lol !!!! - apparently we are honorary Scottish girls - we had to beat the Snorkel Boys!! ).

We both really enjoyed marshalling and it was great to get to know better more of the Pennine members.( I will try harder next year !! - sorry)

Just want to say a great big thank you to you all. It was well worth the 341.4 miles from our house in Dundee to visit you(I would think this would make my hubby Ben in cs22 the furthest travelled Scots driver, altho if Angie and Drew had taken the class 2 they would have beaten us by thirty odd miles lol)
Team Robertson(or is that "Robinson" Andy lol) had a great time socialising with you all, and you have to admit that the rope attached to the tow bar was an amazingly brilliant plan. Well done to the girls for winning that.
Well done to all the drivers over the weekend but especially a big well done to our CS drivers, you were all great and made us all proud,! Well done to Ian, Jimmy and Jack for taking home trophies. Just a pity we suddenly had a run on new drive shafts lol.Thanks for that by the way Jimmy
